ML Hands Out Reliever of the Year Award: At the young age of only 16, Mateo Ouwerkerk has been named the Marvin League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2029.

The future appears bright for the South River Seahawks relief ace, who captured the award with 31 saves in 50 relief appearances, 57 strikeouts in 58.2 innings and a record of 6-4 to go with his 1.69 ERA.

He received 63 first place votes out of a possible 72. Thomas Harvey of the Carroll Dragons finished second in voting with 7 first place votes, while Sean Biddle of the Deer Creek Demolition finished third.
