Love Boats Come up Short of Playoffs: Hugh Mann didn't hide his feelings when asked by reporters how he felt to know his Lake Minnetonka Love Boats are now officially out of postseason contention.
"It's one of the worst feelings you can have as a baseball player," he said.
Lake Minnetonka last appeared in the postseason in 2042. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 13 times in their 17 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Love Boats have only made the playoffs once. Lake Minnetonka has won the 3L AA Championship 2 times in their history.
