"We might not have a lot of championship experience as a franchise, but when push comes to shove, I believe in these guys," said starting pitcher Jake Pérez. "We want to be that team to bring the title home to Louisiana State."
Team manager Leroy Sibbald said it won't be easy to capture the National Championship, but noted that "nothing worth doing ever is."
