Knights Trade Hunt to Athletics for Fulks: Reports have surfaced that Las Vegas has agreed to send 19-year old minor league 2B Randall Rico, 19-year old minor league LF Chip Hunt, and $1 in cash to the Oakland Athletics in exchange for 30-year old RHP Danny Fulks. "It's a done deal," said one executive speaking on the condition of anonymity. "I'm surprised word got around so quickly. We just signed off on this an hour ago." The deal apparently is awaiting physicals before an official announcement is made by either team.
Fulks has made 10 starts this season, posting 5 wins and 2 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .198 against him and he has 85 strikeouts in 72 innings with a 2.88 ERA.
