Kim Slams 5 Hits for Evansville: There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget.

Chang-keun Kim of the Evansville Purple Aces had one such moment at Eck Stadium today, when he went 5 for 5 at the plate. His hitting heroics weren't enough to pull out the victory, however, and Evansville fell to a 14-13 defeat to the Wichita State Shockers.

"This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time," the 18-year-old third baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "It would have been very special if we had won the game."

Chang-keun Kim hit a two-run home run off Carlos Flores in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

So far this season Kim has put up a .323 batting average with 84 hits, 10 home runs and 44 RBIs.
