Kieboom Has 20-Game Hitting Streak: Win or lose, Carter Kieboom just keeps on getting base hits -- game after game after game. He picked up 2 more today and has now stretched his hitting streak to 20 games.

The Gwinnett Stripers third baseman went 2-for-5 today, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated 6-4 by the Pawtucket Red Sox at McCoy Stadium.

"It's amazing to watch him hit right now, but I don't think anybody's really mentioning it," one of his teammates said. "We just don't want to jinx him."
Carter Kieboom flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 9th.

This year Kieboom has hit at a .319 clip with 46 hits, 3 home runs, 21 RBIs and 20 runs scored.
