Kazaz Slams 5 Hits for Washington: Washington center fielder Abel Kazaz had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Baltimore Bulldogs at The Capitol as the Bats picked up a 7-6 victory.
"He was patient up there today," Washington skipper Pat Fiume told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Kazaz has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."
Abel Kazaz singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, flied out in the 9th, doubled in the 11th and hit a solo-shot off Jesse Hansen in the 13th.
This year Kazaz is batting .298 with 145 hits, 5 home runs, 54 RBIs, 24 walks, .339 OBP and has scored 57 runs.
