Jackrabbits Prevail, as Round 1 Goes to the Wire: The Sonoran Jackrabbits and Green Bay Huskies didn't hold back anything in the Round 1, with each team pulling out all the stops in an effort to advance to the Round 2.

Sonoran won the final game by a score of 11-6 at Ballpark of Neillsville and that concluded the series, 3-2.

"Relief is the biggest thing," Sonoran third baseman Tony Mora said when asked how he felt. "It's a grind both mentally and physically to have a long series like this, but our guys stuck with it and Green Bay deserves credit for the hard fight."

Mora paced the Sonoran offence and earned MVP honors. For the series, he hit .263 with a .364 on-base percentage, 2 home runs, 4 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The Sonoran Jackrabbits will play against the Pickle Pickers in the next round. Pickle won their series against the Granville Greyhounds 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
