The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Cabano closer could miss the remainder of the year. Melgoza was injured while throwing a pitch in the Black Aces-Racers clash at Black Aces Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has a torn labrum and would be out a minimum of 8-9 months.
