Injury Sidelines Justin Rochefort for Season: Pontiac starting pitcher Justin Rochefort could miss the remainder of the season because of bone chips in his elbow. He exited yesterday's Delmarva game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Rochefort would be out 4-5 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

Checking out his stats for the season, Rochefort has registered 2 wins and 5 losses in 13 starts, 6.30 ERA and struck out 51 batters in 60 innings.
