Injury Sidelines Frankie Quintana for Season: Frankie Quintana has to call it a season. The Rio de Jesus Jackets reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Xingtai Disciples and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Quintana was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 11 months.

Thus far this season Quintana has compiled a 1-1 record, made 13 relief appearances with no saves, hurling 21 innings and striking out 19. He has held the opposition to a .221 batting average with a 4.71 ERA.
