House Crushes 3 Homers Against State College: The old superstition that "bad news comes in threes" certainly came true for the State College Spikes today.

Batavia center fielder Mason House tripled up on the home runs to propel the Muckdogs to the 6-5 win at Dwyer Stadium.

"We had our chances to win the game, but we just didn't come through," State College manager Chad Kreuter said. "House hit the heck out of the ball."

In addition to the homers, House collected 5 hits in 8 at-bats, 3 RBIs and scored 3 runs.

"Easy swings get you home runs," he said after the game. "I kept telling myself not to press. They have to be nice and easy swings."

Mason House flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off J.D. Neeleman in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off J.D. Neeleman in the 6th, singled in the 9th, flied out in the 11th, hit a solo-shot off Tomás Rodríguez in the 13th, singled in the 15th and flied out in the 16th.
