Hinchy Ups Hit Streak to 25 Consecutive Games: The Kittanning Union stopped the Nashville Predators today 4-2 and Edward Hinchy collected a base hit yet again. The Kittanning center fielder finished with 2 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25.
"I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Hinchy told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games."
Edward Hinchy singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.
Thus far this season Hinchy has hit .350 with 3 home runs, 67 RBIs and scored 81 times.
