Heston Kjerstad Wins MVP Trophy: The future looks extremely bright for Heston Kjerstad. At the age of 24, many players are still trying to find their way in Major League Baseball.

Kjerstad has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the American League Most Valuable Player Award.

"I didn't expect to hit .288 this year, that's for sure," the right fielder said.

The Baltimore Orioles star also put up a .347 on-base percentage this year, with 168 hits, 31 doubles, 1 triple, 50 home runs, 123 RBIs and 98 runs scored.

DJ LeMahieu of the New York Yankees finished second in voting, while Alex Bregman of the Houston Astros finished third.
