Henderson Gone for Season in New York: The season is apparently over for Greg Henderson. The New York Mets medical staff informed the club that the first baseman will be out at least 3-4 weeks with an intercostal strain. Henderson was hurt in the game against Washington while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season.

Henderson is swinging at a .296 pace on the year with 31 home runs, 96 RBIs and 78 runs scored. He has played in 152 games.
