Harris Launches Number 500: At The Throne Room Stan Harris smashed his 500th career home run in a game against Buffalo today. The 35-year-old first baseman had a hand in the Kansas City Kings 9-2 victory with 1 home run and 1 run batted in. For the day he went 3 hits-5 at-bats.

At the press conference after the game, Harris downplayed his achievement.

"To reach 500 home runs is amazing and something I'll always cherish. I've been fortunate to remain healthy and play at a high level through most of my career."
