Greer Wins HR Challenge: Fans at Welsh Field were treated to quite a show at this year's Home Run Challenge. Taking home the hardware was Ed Greer. The Vermont Lake Monsters third baseman subdued Joe Ward in the final round by a score of 26-22.
"I was glad to be part of this event," said Greer as he hoisted the championship trophy. "Even happier to win it."
