Message:
Great Day for Simon, Hits for Cycle: Colton Simon showed off his speed, his power and his plate discipline today at Hank Aaron Stadium, putting together all facets of his game to hit for the cycle in the Rocket City win.

The 26-year-old first baseman went 4-for-4, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to help the Trash Pandas top the Shreveport Engineers by a score of 9-2. A jubilant Simon told reporters afterward that the experience was "unimaginable."

"Seriously, I would have been happy going 1-for-4 with just the double," he said. "So this feels incredible."

For the day, Simon finished with 4 runs batted in and 3 runs scored to go with his 4 hits.

Colton Simon hit a two-run home run off Oliver Alexander in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.

So far this year Simon is batting .228 with 19 home runs, 49 RBIs and 45 runs scored.
