Frisco Wins it All: The Frisco RoughRiders ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Arkansas Travelers 6-4 to win the Championship.
Frisco won the series 4-2, capturing the title for the 4th time.
"We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Frisco manager Jordon Banfield. "It's a great feeling."
The champs finished the regular season 79-63 and claimed first place in the South.
In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and left fielder Riley Greene said the RoughRiders have "great fans and they deserve this."
"I am so happy for our city right now," he said.
