Fields Goes Downtown 3 Times Against Meatheads: Fans are still buzzing after Aberdeen whipped the Manhatten Meatheads by the score of 15-9 today at Manhattan Metro Field.

Jermaine Fields smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the left fielder bashed out 4 hits in 4 at-bats, had 7 RBIs and scored 3 times.

At the postgame press conference, Fields said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game.

"Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Fields said. "Three is just... wow."

Jermaine Fields hit a two-run home run off Lawrence Lucero in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Steve Blake in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Chris Snoddy in the 6th and walked in the 8th.

Posting a .287 batting average to date, Fields has 13 home runs and 41 RBIs.
