FLO Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named: At the young age of only 25, José Ybarra has been named the Florida State League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2022.

The future appears bright for the St. Lucie Mets relief ace, who captured the award with 36 saves in 56 relief appearances, 44 strikeouts in 64.1 innings and a record of 6-1 to go with his 1.68 ERA.

He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 12. Arthur Gillespie of the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels finished second in voting, while Gonzalo Muñóz of the Palm Beach Cardinals finished third with 1 first place vote.
