FEBL Trophy Goes to Ejlersgaard of Manila: Åke Ejlersgaard must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .529 clip, then the Manila left fielder finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the FEBL Player of the Week Award.
He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too."
For the week Ejlersgaard batted .529 (9-for-17) with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs.
