Message:
Dye on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Franklin: 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Hicksville's John Dye made it happen today against the Fire. Everything came together at the plate for the 21-year-old center fielder as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Hounds to a 22-6 win at Lawmen Ballpark.

"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Dye said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."

John Dye singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run single in the 7th, walked in the 8th and singled in the 9th.

For the year Dye is batting .318 with 71 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 39 times and driven in 45.
