Duane Ames Hurt, Out for Year: The season is ending on a bad note for Duane Ames, starting pitcher for the Rio de Jesus Jackets. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Ames was hurt against the Altagracia de Orituco Mountain Hawks while throwing a pitch. He suffered radial nerve compression and will be out for at least 6 months.
