Doxakis Wins Award for IL Dominance: At the young age of only 24, John Doxakis has been named the International League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2022.

The future appears bright for the Toledo Mud Hens relief ace, who captured the award with 4 saves in 41 relief appearances, 89 strikeouts in 91 innings and a record of 5-3 to go with his 1.29 ERA.

He received 14 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Germán León of the Rochester Red Wings finished second in voting, while Mike Clements of the Norfolk Tides finished third.
