Message:
Crimo Smashes 3 Homers for Auburn: Auburn Tigers left fielder Juan Crimo sensed he was going to have a good day at the plate, but he still might have underestimated it a little.

Prior to the start of today's contest with the Washington State Cougars, Crimo told teammates he was sure he would hit a home run. He did -- three times.

"During batting practice I really had my swing down pat," he recalled. "I felt some thunder in the lumber."

The big day from Crimo pushed the Tigers past the Cougars, 7-1. To go along with the homers, he collected 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs.

"I was seeing good, feeling good and swinging good," Crimo told reporters after the game.

Juan Crimo grounded out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jeff Sharpe in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jeff Sharpe in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Wilbur Harvey in the 7th.

Crimo is swinging at a .312 pace on the year with 10 home runs, 36 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has played in 48 games.
