Coroba Twirls RailRiders to Shutout Win: Josbel Coroba was in a mood to talk following the Scranton WB RailRiders contest against the Gwinnett Firebirds, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Firebirds, 4-0.

"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Coroba said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."

The left-hander blanked Gwinnett on a 1-hitter, allowing 2 walks and racking up 9 strikeouts.

This season-to-date, Coroba has fashioned a 8-14 mark and 5.67 ERA in 144.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .286 against him and he has logged 102 strikeouts.
