Connecticut Advances to League Championship Series: The Connecticut Tigers have advanced to the League Championship Series, with a 5-4 triumph at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium over the Aberdeen Ironbirds.
The win sealed a 3-1 series win for Connecticut.
The series MVP honor went to Tigers shortstop Ryder White.
