Colorado Takes Wild Card Series in Deciding Game: The Colorado Rockies are off to the Divisional Series after an exciting Wild Card Series triumph.
Colorado downed the Los Angeles Dodgers, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 4-1 win tonight at Dodger Stadium wrapping up the series 2-1.
"It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Tim Murphy, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series.
Murphy put up a .455 with a .538 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 1 home runs, drove in 4 runs and scored 2 runs himself.
The Colorado Rockies will play against the Arizona Diamondbacks in the next round. Arizona had a bye in the Wild Card Series. The Divisional Series is scheduled to begin on October 9th , 2022.
