Chiefs on to Top 4 Round: It's not often a losing player is named MVP of a series, but that's the situation Zhuo-cheng Liu found himself in tonight, as the Santa Fe HS Chiefs beat his Buchanan HS Wizards to advance to the Top 4 Round.
Santa Fe HS won the final game by a score of 4-1 at Field of the Bullies and took the series 3-1.
Despite his strong performance, Liu was not taking many positives away from the series.
"I'm glad I played well, sure, but what good does it do us now?"
The Santa Fe HS Chiefs will play against the Overland Park HS Triplets in the next round. Overland Park HS won their series against the Jackson HS Swamp Bats 3 games to 0. The Top 4 Round schedule will be announced after the Top 8 Round finishes.
