Chicago-Seattle Deal Confirmed: It's all done except the paperwork. The Chicago White Sox and the Seattle Mariners have agreed to a trade that will send 25-year old RHP Javier García to Seattle, while 32-year old RHP Casey Kelly and 20-year old minor league LHP José Juárez will be shipped to Chicago. A top front office executive with the White Sox described the trade talks as "quick and easy." "We're glad to get this deal done. We think it's something that helps our ball club and it didn't take too long at all to sort this one out," he said.

This season García has chalked up no saves, notched a 0-0 record with a 2.70 ERA, allowed 12 hits in his 16.2 innings of work, struck out 16 and walked 3. Opponents are hitting .190 against the Seattle hurler.

So far this year Kelly has 4 wins and 3 losses and a 5.23 ERA.
