Chicago-Chicago Swap: Walker for Hill: A trade was announced today at a press conference in Chicago. Not satisfied with their current roster, the Chicago Cubs general manager shook things up by acquiring 24-year old minor league LF Tyler Hill from the Chicago White Sox for 29-year old RHP Taijuan Walker.

"We're a better team now," Cubs general manager Justin Jabs said. "We've added several pieces to the puzzle."

Chicago will retain a portion of Walker's remaining contract.

To this point in the season he has had 3 saves. Walker has made 25 relief appearances, tossed 45.2 innings and struck out 52 with a record of 1 win and 3 losses.

For the season Hill is hitting .162, batted in 5 runs with 2 home runs and 5 runs scored.
