Chicago Ships Schwarber to Houston: The Cubs and Astros pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 29-year old C Kyle Schwarber head to Houston in exchange for 24-year old minor league RHP Chris McCarthy, 24-year old minor league 1B Ben Collins, and 25-year old minor league RHP Dave Harris. A source close to Chicago officials said, "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs."
Chicago will retain a portion of Schwarber's remaining contract.
