The Columbus Clippers left fielder tore up the Toledo Mud Hens to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Fifth Third Field today. The offensive onslaught from Carter powered the Clippers to a 10-8 win.
"Carter was a tough out today," Toledo manager Yusmeiro Petit said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
Kes Carter hit a two-run home run off Tristan Hill in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Brad Boxberger in the 8th.
