Carlos Packs a Wallop -- Hits 3 HR Against Stars: Fans are still buzzing after Maui whipped the Springfield Stars by the score of 15-1 today at Kekambas Park.

José Carlos smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the first baseman bashed out 3 hits in 5 at-bats, had 9 RBIs and scored 3 times.

At the postgame press conference, Carlos said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game.

"Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Carlos said. "Three is just... wow."

José Carlos hit a three-run home run off Ray Gordon in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Jin-woo Kun in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Ty Duncan in the 8th.

For the season Carlos has produced 83 hits in 338 at-bats for a .246 average with 25 home runs and gotten on base at a .304 clip.
