Careaga and Macias Suspended for Free-for-All: Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Bradenton-Tampa contest at Calvin Falwell Field. The Marauders Efrain Careaga and the Yankees Edwin Macias will have to sit out 2 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl.

On the year Careaga is hitting .228 with 66 hits, 5 home runs, 35 RBIs, .302 OBP and has scored 31 runs.

To this point in the season, Macias shows a 3-1 record, 8 starts, 41 innings, 37 strikeouts and a 2.63 ERA.
