Boston-Oakland Trade: Hernández for Traver: The Baseball News Network is reporting that Boston and Oakland have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 27-year old RHP Manuel Hernández, 19-year old minor league RHP Jake Boeheim, and 22-year old minor league RHP Jacob Meador to the Athletics with 28-year old RHP Mitchell Traver joining the Red Sox. Boston general manager Brett Jackson would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league.
