Boston, New York Deal Made: The Boston Terriers swapped 22-year old minor league 1B Cleophas Wade, 24-year old minor league C Bobby Ramon, 19-year old minor league RHP Mark Campbell, and a 1st round draft pick for 30-year old minor league RHP Herb Hinton of the Knickerbockers after what New York officials would only characterize as "difficult" negotiations.

Ramon has played in 131 games with a .235 career batting average and 96 hits. He also has scored 38 runs and driven in 41 runs with 1 home run.

For the year Hinton has compiled a 7-7 record with a 3.60 ERA.
