Bobby McDonald Strokes 3 Home Runs: The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Bobby McDonald did today at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 9-2.

"It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," McDonald said. "Good things happen, when that happens."

The Durham Bulls center fielder blistered the Indianapolis Indians for 3 hits, batted in 6 runs and scored 3 times.

"It ain't like we weren't trying," Indianapolis manager John Wasdin said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today."

Bobby McDonald flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Adam Kloffenstein in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Adam Kloffenstein in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Nick Sprengel in the 8th.

This year McDonald is batting .233 with 4 home runs. He has scored 18 runs and driven in 17.
