Big Day for Corona: Swats 5 Hits: Carlos Corona of the Highlanders was unstoppable in today's 16-2 victory over the Squirrel Hill Pirates at Jackie Robinson Park. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats.

"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Inverness right fielder after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will."

Carlos Corona doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off José Elrayes in the 8th.

This year Corona is batting .426 with 2 home runs and 15 RBIs. In 12 games he has scored 16 times.
