Best Selected AWL's Premier Player: Lee Best took Arizona Winter League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 25.

For his spectacular campaign, the Scottsdale Scorpions star has been named the 2045 Arizona Winter League Most Valuable Player recipient.

"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the left fielder.

On the season he compiled a .306 batting average to go with a .381 on-base percentage. The native of Long Beach, California also added 9 doubles, no triples, 7 home runs, 22 RBIs and 16 runs scored.

He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 7. Rafael Diéguez of the Surprise Saguaros finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Henry McIntyre of the Scottsdale Scorpions finished third.
