BSA Awards Best Batter Prize to Pak: At the age of 27, Chae-ho Pak might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The St. Louis center fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .545 batting average. For his efforts Pak collected the Baseball Stars Association Player of the Week Award.
He racked up 12 hits in 22 at-bats, 5 home runs and 13 RBIs last week in 6 games.
Thus far this year Pak is hitting .298 with 24 home runs, 73 RBIs and 70 runs scored.
