Atlanta, Texas Agree to Deal: It took some time to iron out the details, but the Firebirds and Rangers have agreed to a swap. Texas will get 21-year old minor league RHP Jared Hughes with Atlanta receiving 28-year old RF Michael Conforto in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal.
