Armstrong Booms 3 Homers: Jasper Mom & Pops first baseman Mark Armstrong had a magnificent game against the Bridgetown Buccaneers today, rocketing three balls out of Muckdogs Ballpark to help the Mom & Pops take the 14-2 victory.

"I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes."

For the game, Armstrong went 3-for-4 with 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored.

"There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Jasper manager said later. "Seems like Mark found his home run stroke today."

Mark Armstrong hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 5th and struck out in the 7th.

This season Armstrong is hitting .224 with 15 hits, 6 home runs, 14 RBIs, scored 12 runs and played in 20 games.
