Message:
Abraham Batters Washington Big Time: Atlanta left fielder Ted Abraham had a day to remember today, 5-for-5 against the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park as the Braves picked up a 14-5 victory.

"He was patient up there today," Atlanta skipper Chris Greuling told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Abraham has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."

Ted Abraham singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jonathan Gross in the 5th, singled in the 6th and walked in the 8th.

So far this season Abraham is batting .335 with 1 home run, 44 RBIs and 74 runs scored. He has 150 hits in 448 at-bats, 22 walks and a .380 OBP. Abraham has played in 116 games.
