APP Gives Best Pitcher Award: Rhett Lowder of the Pulaski Yankees fired on all cylinders in 2023 and dominated Appalachian League batters. For his superb season he has been selected the Pitcher of the Year Award winner.

During the year Lowder compiled a 8-2 record, a 2.12 ERA and 97 strikeouts while working 80.2 innings.

He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Miguel Romano of the Danville Braves finished second in voting, while Blake Hurley of the Burlington Royals finished third.
