5-Hit Blitz by Schwab: Fans at Target Field got to see not only a home-team victory today, but also one of the most impressive feats of hitting of the season.

The Minnesota Twins outplayed the Milwaukee Brewers en route to a 6-5 win, but the standout was right fielder Darill Schwab. Schwab netted 5 hits in 9 at-bats and finished with a dynamite game line.

"Hey, we tried everything we could think of to get him out," Brewers manager Juan Alvarado said in postgame comments. "We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the sink, too."

Darill Schwab singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, flied out in the 9th, singled in the 11th, struck out in the 13th, struck out in the 15th, walked in the 17th and hit an RBI single in the 19th.

Currently Schwab is hitting .469 and has collected 1 home run, 9 RBIs and scored 6 times, while playing in 11 games.
