5-Hit Blitz by Little: It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Ken Little today. Little went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Lehigh Valley pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at NBT Bank Stadium, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the Syracuse Chiefs had a 10-9 victory over the IronPigs.
"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.
Ken Little singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
This year Little has hit at a .310 pace and produced 32 RBIs, 6 home runs and scored 37 runs.
