20-Game Hitting Streak for Núñes: The streak is alive and well -- at least for today.

Miguel Núñes did it again, bashing 1 hit in the contest at Pete Rose Field today. For the last 20 games in a row, the 27-year-old second baseman has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Conquest Mustachios beat the Louisville Sluggers 5-0 today.

"I'm happy I kept the streak going," Núñes told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Conquest clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day."
Miguel Núñes grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and grounded out in the 9th.

So far this season Núñes has 1 home run and a .340 batting average.
