Salas Extends Hit Streak to 25 Games: Alex Salas's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Chicago A (DSL). The 21-year-old first baseman extended it once again today, this time bringing it to 25 games with a 1-for-3 performance against the Washington (DSL) Nationals. The White Sox took the game, 3-1.

"People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful."
Alex Salas walked in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and walked in the 10th.

So far this season Salas is hitting .409 with 10 home runs, 36 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has 45 hits in 110 at-bats and a .540 OBP.
